Terri Bowen – L.I.D.T.A Bt. T. Th. LD

Terri started dancing at the age of 4 in Rochester, Kent. Terri entered many dance competitions, successfully passed exams, Teachers exams and attended a full-time Dance School in London. Her Professional career started at the age of 19 with dance contracts in Tenerife, South Africa, South Korea, Portugal, Summer Seasons, Pantomimes, a member of Dougie Squires 2nd Generation and a Musical – “No No Nanette” with the late Noele Gordon. Terri is even on a South African Postage Stamp. Quodos Productions asked her to become a choreographer for their productions but she turned it down and joined the SS Canberra, P&O Cruises as Head Dancer where she worked for 5 years in one of the only and original Stadium Theatre Company at Sea. In 1991 she returned to “dry land” and formed the Terri Jayne Theatre Arts.

Tiffany Preece – BA Hons

Tiffany started dancing at the age of 3 from when she learnt many forms of dance, took exams and performed in shows. She gained a BA (hons) in Dance and Culture at Surrey University. Tiffany has been teaching for Miss Terri for 15 years having choreographed many numbers for our cabaret, fete and show work. As a teacher she has an impressive record of results with the Freestyle and Ballet Exams.

Nicola Bowen – AIDTA, Acrobatic Arts, DTLLS, DDI

Nicola Graduated from Italia Conti Arts Centre in July 2013, having previsouly been a pupil at the school since the age of 2 and a half. She has taken dance exams at Major level in both IDTA and ISTD and has also gained her Ballet, Tap and Modern ISTD Dipolma in Dance Instruction. Since Graduating Nicola has worked for Merlin Entertainment, BBC Children in Need, Jonathan Heaven Productions, 5 Star Live and Warner Leisure Hotels as Dance Captain on the Isle of Wight. While dancing for Warners she gained her Shallow Water Aerobics qualification and Gold Certificate in Fitsteps. Nicola now teaches all dance genres and ages at the school including Acrobatic Arts. In 2016 she gained her IDTA Level 4 Diploma in Ballet with 94%.

Gemma Jackson – DipMT

Gemma trained for four years at Cambridge Performing Arts qualifying with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre with distinction. Since graduating she has been on tour with 'Westside Story' playing the lead role of 'Minnie'. Starred in the Westend production of Guy's N Dolls playing the role of a Hotbox Girl. She has done various Music video's and Television events such as performing at the Lady Rattling's Ball, dancing with the boys from Hollyoaks at a charity football game and modeling at one of the James Bond premiere's. In previous years (6) Gemma has had several contracts working for Grayboy Entertainment as a singer/dancer and Dance Captain living and working on cruise ships in and around Australia. She is delighted to be a part of the Terri Jayne Theatre Arts and teaching Modern and Street Dance classes.

Melissa Rust – HND, FDI

Melissa graduated from ‘Performers College’ in Essex as a qualified teacher with the I.S.T.D. Melissa has worked professionally on UK tours, pantomime, corporate events and on several exclusive cruise ships as a dancer/aerialist. Whilst onboard, Melissa also held the roles of company manager and dance captain for several years. Furthermore, Melissa has also choreographed for several shows overseas.

Yasmine Amiss – Acrobatic Arts, DipMT

Yasmine from the age of 4 always knew she wanted to be a performer. Starting her professional training at Italia Conti Arts Centre she then later, progressed to seven years at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in Londer where she has now graduated and completed her three year diploma in Musical Theatre. During the many years she’s been in various pantomimes, was a Hogwarts student in Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince, assistant for Arlene Phillips on BBC1 ‘The One Show’ and appeared on ITV ‘This Morning’ competition commercials. Yasmine is currently working for KLS Entertainment in Malta as a Dancer/Acrobat and we look forward to have her back teaching with us.
